Character personality: She's usually happy and prideful when with her friends. But when she is alone or when it gets quiet, she usually becomes very spacey and distant. She angers easily (most likely when she is discriminated against about being a girl or about being younger than others; also when she is called Samantha or Sammy rather than Sam). She's usually quite determined and very stubborn, and usually uses force to get what she wants if needed. She'll fight to the death to protect her loved ones or defend her opinion.

History: Her father (ex-assassin) and her mother (nurse) are both deceased; they were murdered by an elite group of assassins that her father used to be a part of before he tried to resign. After her parents were killed (when she was 2), the leader of the assassin organization took her in and taught her how to fight. He trained her to be an assassin just like her father was.

Before her father had been killed, he began to look into Alchemy and taught her what it was. She wanted to be an Alchemist in secret, so she taught herself without anyone else knowing.

When she was 10, she escaped and wound up in Risembool, which was where she met Edward and Alphonse Elric. After a while, she left from there because she knew if she stayed in one place for too long, she'd be caught. Ed and Al had no knowledge of anything about her though besides the fact that her parents were dead and she wanted to be an Alchemist. Before she left, she promised to become a State Alchemist like Ed and Al wanted to be so that they would meet up again later. She left Risembool, continuing to study Alchemy and still on the run from the assassins that were looking for her.

Eventually, they caught her again. When they discovered her plans, she was allowed to learn Alchemy so that she could take the State Qualifying Exam. The leader wanted her to be able to get inside of the military because he figured he could find some way to use that to grow more powerful, and also so Sam could prevent the military from gaining any knowledge of them.

She took the State Qualifying Exam at 13, unbeknownst to the fact that Ed had taken it a year before her and passed. She had gained the Alchemic power to alter the air around her hands and form something similar to a type of 'star'. With that kind of power, she was able to transmute a star bigger than the military building itself. It expanded and disappeared as 'stardust' fell from the sky. That is what gave her the title "Starlight Alchemist".

Later on, at the age of 15, she met up with Edward and Alphonse yet again. But they still had no knowledge of the assassins. Sam is unaware of the fact that they had tried to bring their mother, Trisha, back from the dead using Human Transmutation, or that Edward's arm and leg were automail.

Dreams/Goals: To kill the one who killed her parents and to keep her dark and terrible secret from her friends and from the military.

Specialization: She can transmute the air around her hands into hydrogen and helium and other gasses and dust that make up stars. Though she has to use transmutation circles, which she will usually draw on her hands with a marker.

Fighting: She likes to fight hand-to-hand, but when it's a serious battle, she'll usually transmute a sword from the ground as her weapon. Sometimes, she'll use her stars like time bombs, transmuting them and throwing them at people because she can make them so that they explode on impact.

Weaknesses: She would do anything to protect her loved ones. She is sometimes forgetful (sometimes she forgets to redraw transmutation circles on her hands) and she can take things a little too seriously/literally.

Other: As an assassin, she uses the alias 'Takai'. However, she disguises herself so that everyone thinks Takai is male.

She has each ear pierced once with a small silver hoop in each hole. She wears two necklaces: one is a silver pendant of the flamel (the Alchemic symbol of the cross with the snake on it) that was her father's; the other is a golden, heart-shaped locked that was her mother's.

She carries a small, white backpack over her shoulder. Inside, there is a marker (she draws transmutation circles onto her hands with it) and a small, black, leather-bound book with information on Alchemy inside of it. Various other things (such as money, her reading glasses, etc.) are inside of it as well.

Her favorite color is purple.

The person she hates the most is the leader of the assassin group.

Roy Mustang knows that she is quick to anger. So, to tease her, he will frequently send her lingerie-type things and incredibly small mini skirts in the mail. However, she forgets that he is her boss, so when she returns to Central, she promptly throws whatever he sent to her in his face and yells at him, calling him a "pervert" and saying he "disgusts" her until either she calms down on her own or he changes the subject/reminds her that she is his suboordinate.

She likes to tease Ed about his height, but sometimes he will come right back with some sort of sexist comment ("dumb girl", "weak girl", etc.) to make her mad. THAT'S when all hell breaks loose. (xD)

Appearance
Habit is a very pale girl. Her skin is a cold shade of the lightest cream, being extraordinarily close to white. She has dull, dust-colored green eyes that, upon close inspection may be more hazel than green, holding the tiniest of brown hues. Her hair is a caramel, almost honey-colored brown, and it falls down to her shoulders in small ringlets that stay surprisingly rigid. She wears a simple sundress, and it is dark, dark brown in hue with crimson red, torn fringe at the bottom, and she wears no shoes or accessories. Habit is also fairly slender in build, and looks to be around seven or eight years old.

Character Personality
First of all, Habit has multiple personality disorder of sorts, as well as a touch of schizophrenia. She has two personalities from which she can easily switch, though she can’t quite control it herself.
Good Habit
The first personality is the one in which she stays most of the time. When in this personality, Habit is extremely quiet and kept-to, never even looking anyone in the eye for more than a split second at a time. It’s thought that in this “setting,” she is her weakest, but that has been disproved time and time again, as when need be, Habit will revert to her other personality.
Bad Habit
Habit’s second personality is an extremely dangerous one. In this “setting,” she is very violent and prone to do the most awful things. However, also when in this personality, Habit is very outgoing, loud, and she tends to laugh and smile quite a bit, and even stare at people. In fact, the first sign that she is reverting into this personality is when she begins to stare down a person, and, it would be a good idea for that person to run.
Two things can trigger her second personality: Either she is in a situation in which she must fight, or some memory of hers has reared its ugly head. However, once she goes back into her “normal” personality, she forgets everything from the experience, as well as whatever memory it may have been that caused her to behave in such a manner.

History
Her name was Nell Hudson. Nell, or Nelly as she was called, was born and raised in Resembool. She was a friend of the Elric brothers and Winry, but always gravitated more towards Alphonse, tending to be more attracted to his kind personality and sensitivity. However, Edward never seemed to like her too much. It wasn’t that he hated her or anything, he just always teased her. Being very young, these small teases tended to get to Nell very easily, so she would often rant to Alphonse about what a jerk Edward was and sometimes even start fights with the blonde boy.
One day, when Nell was seven, as the four children played by the river, Nell somehow fell in and was carried away. Seeing as it had rained for a while just a few days before this, the river’s current was far too fast for Nell to try to get out. Though the other three children had tried to help her, it was too late and Nell was gone.
In Resembool, they had a funeral for the girl, assuming the worst had happened. No one wanted to believe that Nell had passed away, but eventually her parents moved away and the memory of the Hudsons slowly faded away into oblivion.
However, Nell had not died that day. She was carried down the river and finally to the bank in front of a small, small house. The man that lived there took her in, and he took care of her as best he could. However, her small body could not fight off the pneumonia that ensued. After two months of poor health, Nell finally passed on.
But that was not the end of her journey…
The man that had taken her in was an alchemist. He had quickly grown attached to Nell, having taken her in as his own daughter. Because of the close bond he held with Nell, he tried to bring her back to life. Though, of course, his attempt had failed. Nell was only partially brought back, and the man had lost his life.
Dante found Nell, or at least her remains. As with the other homunculi, Dante fed shards of the Philosopher’s Stone to her and, sort of, reanimated her corpse, so to speak. She was then given the name “Habit,” and currently she’s mostly around Wrath and whomever he might be with at that time.

Dreams/Goals
Habit, unlike the other homunculi does not wish to be human again. When she died, she was too young to understand these things, and currently she isn’t too focused on such serious matters, either. She just wants to be around those she finds comfort in, really.

Specialization
This homunculus can do no alchemy of any sort. Her only specialization is the fact that when she reverts to her other personality, she’s a vicious fighter.

Fighting
She has no specific fighting style. When she does fight, which is very rarely, there are no rules, no respect for her fellow fighter. She may even go as far as to kill someone, which she has done before.

Weaknesses
If one could get ahold of Habit during a fight, it would be very easy to injure her because of her small size and lack of alchemy use.
Also, like any other homunculus, coming in contact with something that once belonged to her living self can easily kill her. The only person that would possibly have such an item, though, would be one of the Elric brothers or Winry. Alphonse would be the most likely one to have something of hers, though surely he would not carry it around with him anymore, as such an item may have been burned when the two brothers burned their house down.

Name: Lynette Freeman

Age: 17

Race: Amestrian; unknown canine chimera

Appearance: Lynette has golden blonde, waist-length hair, usually kept in a long braid, or a ponytail. She has pale blue eyes, and tan skin. Partially being a chimera, she has canine ears and a tail the color of her hair, and claws. Her canines have lengthened into fangs, and the palms of her hands sport pink paw pads. These are covered by fingerless black gloves. She wears a thick, wooden cuff bracelet on each hand, with a transmutation circle etched roughly in both. She wears a white tanktop and black military-issue pants, with black combat boots. She sports a black vest, and sometimes a black jacket with a fur trim. A black billed cap covers her ears, and her pants are baggy, specifically asked for a few sizes too large so that she may hide her tail in her pant leg when on a mission. A white belt with a silver buckle holds these pants up.(Image might be coming soon)

Bio: The Dancing Shadow Alchemist. Left at home at the age of 8 by her parents. They were never heard from again. She turned to life in the streets to make a living. At the age of 10, she drew the shade cast by a dandelion and created a small shadow dog. It wagged its tail before she lost control over it, and it disipated. She joined the ranks of the Amestris military as a State Alchemist at the age of 15, after years of improving and honing her natural skills. She began to delve into the art of the creation of the chimera a few months after she joined the military, after hearing rumors of their creation. Through learning this art, she gave her shadows life. They were no longer merely flat shadows. She could create three-dimensional, moving, living shadow creatures, fueled by the alchemy of temporary life. She could control the shape of the shadow being she created, how long it existed, and its actions. The deeper she delved into the science, the more chimeric she became. Her commanding officers encourage her learning; they goad her, encourage her, to experiment more, so that they might observe the results of her labor. To the military, she is a scientific experiment, a test subject, as much as a state alchemist. She seeks to master the shadows. She lives on the streets, hiding her features from the outside world and experimenting with anything she can get her paws on. She is incredibly street-savvy, swift, agile, and intelligent.
